The 4-Hour Creative Day

You have 4 hours to put in your best productive, creative, clear work each day.

For most of us it’s soon after we wake up. If you wake up at 7:30. You could blaze through an amazing morning from 9 to 1.

It’s possible that your best 4 hours are not soon after you wake up.

According Why We Sleep by Matthew Walker, 40% of us are morning people, 30% night owls, and 30% middles.

That might determine when your best 4 hours are.

Stephen Pressfield, author of The War of Art, writes about ritualizing his 4 hours and committing to it come hell or high water.

Maybe you want to get in your cave and light candles. Or, take a daily dalliance to the remote cabin of your mind.

Sit at your earthly desk, make a prayer to the angels of creativity, and jump down the chute.
