Radical Incrementalism part 2: How Real Change Happens

You may want to start a new yoga practice. One hour per day. 5 days a week. For at least the next year. Or maybe 30 minutes of meditation, daily. Starting from scratch.

If you try that, you’ll likely come up short, and not just a little. You’ll likely end up with a consistent practice of 0 minutes of mediation, daily.

Try, instead, radical incrementalism.

Try inch by inch. The we’ll talk next year.

Compare years. Compare a year of big huge commitments to yourself, and a year of teensy weensy commitments.

Bring your life change, bring your inner world, bring your hopes and dreams to the alter of Radical Incrementalism. Dive in with all your passion and big goals to your baby steps, consistently, over time.

Start small. Start tiny. Bring desire. Bring joy. Bring pleasure.

Hug yourself and celebrate with every win. Know that in 12 months you will be somewhere and that if you had taken that other BIG RAH RAH route, in 12 months you would be nowhere.

Find the consistency.

Change.
