Living in a Human Mind

The body is a temple, a home, or a F1 race car. And what is the mind?

The mind is an ocean, a jungle, or a galaxy. But, let’s call it a house. You can clean a house. You can organize a house. You can lock the doors, close the windows, and control the boundaries.

What is it like to live in your mind?

Here are some options:

Tidy, neat, and crisp

Relaxed, creative, messy

Beautiful, soft, and cozy

Vibrant, lush, (and full of plants)

You wake up every morning in this metaphorical house. Different contexts make you feel refreshed, heavy, buoyant, or peaceful. How is waking up in the house of your mind?

And, who is there?

You, first and foremost, are there. So you, first and foremost, have a choice in designing and managing the house that is your mind. You, and others there, can play kindly, if you choose to try to create that. You, and others there can rest easily, nourish vigorously, or nurture warmly.

When you wake up in the morning in your actual house, take a brief moment, put your hand on your chest, with your eyes closed, and walk through the house of your mind, discover what is there, and spread kindness, warmth, and whatever other value or vibe your want in your home.
