Joy Works

Joy works to get you out of bed in the morning. To get the running shoes on. To floss your teeth. To go to the meeting. To learn a new trick.

Joy moves you, drives you, pulls you, sails you through.

Joy works and works.

Joy opens your body, lightens your brow, relaxes your jaw.

Joy widens your eyes so more light can get in.

Joy eases the inconvenience and withering pain.

Joy is purposeful, or so it seems.

Joy vibrates and smears, and continues.
